About
Hi!

Kimberly here. I am a freelance writer.
I blog to share my life experiences and keep the pen moving.
I grew up in the pacific Northwest. Went to a great books college in Eugene Oregon and graduated with a B.A. in Liberal Arts. My main focus was exegetical studies & critical thinking. I have been living in Ecuador for over six years. For work I bake cakes for a local restaurant, host multi-course dinners as well as tutor.
Health and good lifestyle are very important to me. It has now been almost three years since reversing my auto-immune disease. I felt so little information about my condition was available to me and hope sharing my experiences and what I have learned will support others.
I also value a life close to nature. I hope to be a good advocate for awareness in society toward developing healthier connection with our ecological community. My thesis addressed the construct of society as against harmonious living with nature and suggested a conscious awaking for 'nature rights'. The past few years I have been living on perma-culture communities to learn what I can.
My relationship with God is the most important in my life. I grew up in a Christian home and in Christian schools. However I deviated from this theology in my teens when I began studying eastern philosophies and such practices. Most of my twenties I spent lost and bed ridden due to illness and had no real connection with God even as I continued to pursue being spiritual. I have since returned to the truth, scripture and a life in Christ. My heart desires to share the gospel and my testimony. I hope in my love for writing I may do just that.
