Part 2 Exegesis of Psalms - 120:5-7 song of ascent   ****This post is a mess. It is currently under revision June 2026**** Even when I first wrote this post, I knew I hadn't been able to grasp the full scoop and communicat eit throughly. Unlike in achool, I can come back to the post much later. So here I am, a year later, fianlly alble to add a little more and edit this in a way that accomplishes what I had always intneded. Part fo me feels a little embarrassed that this project of mine has alreayd taken 2 years and I have only worked through 4 1/2 of the psalms of ascent. But if someone else said this to me, I wouold encourage them with the comfort that the word fo God is a morsel that takes time to chew. Often, in our walk with Christ, we think we understand the scoop of a verse, but it really hits us in waves, days later, months later, years later, layers reveal themselves as if they are an ocena that continually washes over us.
