Part 2 Exegesis of Psalms - 120:5-7 song of ascent ****This post is a mess. It is currently under revision June 2026**** I feel a little embarrassed that this project of mine has already taken 2 years and I have only worked through 4 1/2 of the psalms of degrees. But if someone else said this to me, I would encourage them with the comfort that the word of God is a morsel that must take time to chew. Often, in our walk with Christ, we think we understand the scoop of a verse, but it really hits us in waves, days later, months later, years later. Layers reveal themselves as if they are an ocean that continually washes over us. Each wave is new and different yet it is always the same water. As I have continued this project I only feel more and more obtuse and inadequate. But the Lord doesn't need us to be extremely skilled or insanely intelligent to use us. the most important thing He needs is our willingness.
